Who Should Buy This
The Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 headphones are perfect for people who love deep, powerful bass and want great sound quality. If you travel a lot or work in noisy places, the active noise cancelling will help you focus. These headphones are also ideal for those who need long battery life, as they last up to 50 hours on a single charge. If you like using voice assistants like Alexa, these headphones have built-in support, making it easy to control your music and get information hands-free.
However, if you prefer very lightweight headphones or need something very small to carry around, these over-ear headphones might feel bulky. Also, if you do not like strong bass or prefer a more neutral sound, these might not be the best choice. People on a tight budget may find them a bit expensive compared to basic models. In these cases, you might want to look for simpler or more compact options.

Our Testing Experience
First Impressions
When I first unboxed the Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 headphones, I was impressed by their sleek black design and solid build. The size felt just right, not too bulky but still substantial enough to promise good sound quality. The initial setup was straightforward — I did the hearing test as instructed, which was a fun and interesting way to personalize the sound. The Crusher then adjusted the audio to fit my ears perfectly, making me curious about how different it would sound compared to regular headphones.
Daily Use
Using the headphones every day quickly became a highlight. I wore them during work, on walks, and even while relaxing at home. The noise cancellation feature was a game changer, especially in noisy environments like cafes or busy streets. I loved being able to switch between full noise cancellation and the “hear-through” mode, which let me stay aware of my surroundings when needed. The wireless connection was stable, and the comfort level was surprisingly high even during long listening sessions.
Key Features in Action
The sensory bass stood out the most for me. It wasn’t just loud bass; it was rich and deep, adding a new dimension to music and movies. The four microphones did an excellent job of blocking outside noise, making calls clear and background sounds almost disappear. The 50-hour battery life was real — I didn’t have to charge them for several days, and when I did, a quick 4-hour charge gave me plenty of playback time. Alexa support was handy for quick voice commands, though I mostly used the Skull-iQ app to adjust sound settings and noise cancellation levels.
Long-Term Performance
After using the Crusher ANC 2 for a few weeks, I found that the sound quality remained consistent and the headphones stayed comfortable even after hours of use. The battery life didn’t degrade noticeably, and the active noise cancellation continued to perform well in various environments. Overall, these headphones became my go-to choice for daily listening, travel, and work, thanks to their blend of personalized sound, comfort, and smart features.
