Pros & Cons

What We Loved

• ✅ Three versatile cleaning modes for different messes
• ✅ Fast drying time of about 30 minutes

What Could Be Better

• ❌ Higher price point compared to basic models
• ❌ Limited water tank capacity for extended use
• ❌ May require multiple passes on very stubborn stains

Who Should Buy This

The BISSELL Little Green HydroSteam is perfect for people who want a small and easy-to-use cleaner. It works great for cleaning carpets, upholstery, and car seats. If you have pets or kids, this machine helps remove stains and dirt quickly. It is also good for those who need a portable cleaner to carry around the house or take on trips.

This product may not be the best choice for people who need to clean very large areas. It has a small tank, so you might need to refill it often. Also, if you want a heavy-duty cleaner for deep cleaning, this might not work well. For big jobs, a bigger machine would be better.

Our Testing Experience

First Impressions

When I first unboxed the BISSELL Little Green HydroSteam, I was surprised by how compact and light it felt. At 14.5 x 12.5 x 15.5 inches, it’s easy to carry around without feeling bulky. I decided to start by testing it on some old carpet stains in my living room that had been there for months. Setting it up was straightforward, and I appreciated knowing that every purchase supports the BISSELL Pet Foundation, which made me feel good about using it.

Daily Use

Over the next few days, I used the cleaner on different surfaces around the house. I tried the SteamWash mode on a stubborn grease spot on my kitchen rug, and it worked better than I expected. The Steam mode was perfect for refreshing my couch’s upholstery, which had pet hair and odors. I even cleaned some grout in the bathroom, and it looked much brighter afterward. Using the Wash mode on a pet accident spot was surprisingly easy, and the smell was gone quickly.

Key Features in Action

The HydroSteam technology really stood out during cleaning. The steam combined with suction made removing set-in stains feel effortless. I liked the three cleaning modes because they let me choose the right approach depending on the mess. The OXY formula helped break down oily stains, which saved me a lot of scrubbing. Plus, the cleaner’s size made it easy to handle in tight spaces like car seats and stairs.

Long-Term Performance

After using the BISSELL Little Green HydroSteam for a few weeks, I noticed it still worked just as well as on day one. The suction didn’t weaken, and the steam continued to freshen surfaces without any problems. It’s become my go-to cleaner for quick touch-ups and deep cleaning alike. Knowing it supports saving homeless pets makes me feel even better about keeping it in regular use.
